I love Dr。 Seuss。 His stories are entertaining, but have a real meaning behind it。 I think what I took away from this story is, everybody has a voice and we should use it。 Every vote counts! When we come together for one cause, our voice is strong。

Lovely bedtime reading for a 4 year old。

The book is about Horton, who is a cute blue elephant。 People thought he was crazy because he was talking to a speck of dust。My favorite part of the story was the ending。 What I will remember most is that a person's a person no matter how small。 (Alon, 7) The book is about Horton, who is a cute blue elephant。 People thought he was crazy because he was talking to a speck of dust。My favorite part of the story was the ending。 What I will remember most is that a person's a person no matter how small。 (Alon, 7) 。。。more

Fun stuff here in one of Seuss’s longer books。 It’s got all of that surrealism that Seuss is known and loved for, and the only thing I’m not sure about is how they managed to get a full length movie out of it。 Worth reading, though。

This was actually the first time I ever read this。 I expected nonsense but found a nice dual lesson in morality。 Every life is precious and anyone can make a difference, no matter how small。 I loved it。

(5☆ Would recommend & would read again)This is one of the best Dr。 Seuss books。 Dr。 Seuss books are great for learning, since they have such colorful pages, engaging pictures, and rhyme。 Kids love them。 However, a handful of them have a great storyline too。 This is one of those。

A great Dr。 Seuss book。 Horton is a nice character。 He only wants to help, and the peopleon the dust speck need him。 He's not crazy, but it'll take a journey and a lot of talking to get others to believe him。 "A person's a person, no matter how small。" A great Dr。 Seuss book。 Horton is a nice character。 He only wants to help, and the peopleon the dust speck need him。 He's not crazy, but it'll take a journey and a lot of talking to get others to believe him。 "A person's a person, no matter how small。" 。。。more

Horton Hears a Who! is a good story about standing up for what you believe is right as that's exactly what Horton is doing to protect the Whos。 It shows just because you can't hear something someone else can hear that it's wise to judge them and make them feel terrible about it! And Horton is totally the opposite to that。 He is a loving character who sees everyone as a person no matter their size。 I think teaching about equality and treating animal/people with respect is so important and I defin Horton Hears a Who! is a good story about standing up for what you believe is right as that's exactly what Horton is doing to protect the Whos。 It shows just because you can't hear something someone else can hear that it's wise to judge them and make them feel terrible about it! WOWSo simple yet profound。 I just read this book from a new perspective。 As if the world was Whoville and Horton was God of all, Jo-Jo was Jesus and we were saved even though we were small。 :) Great story Doc Seuss。 Lol。

This is the first of several Dr。 Seuss e-books I checked out for bedtime reading with E。 This one put him out once this afternoon and a second time this evening。Dr。 Seuss breaks all of my prejudice toward rhyming, especially that of rhyming being silly instead of serious。 While Horton rhymes, his message of those who are “small” being heard and being important is as important now as it ever was。 I’m looking forward to revising this one more often as E。 grows。
